Puerto Rico Love

So, 2019 has been pretty amazing thus far. I'm so grateful to have made it to my 40th chapter of life, it's a blessing that I don't take lightly or for granted, because many did not have the privilege. I'm transitioning into God's best version of myself and I'm in awe of this journey. God does not half step when he begins to unlock blessings in your life. I recently got back from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
San Juan, Puerto Rico was so beautiful and rich in culture. I thoroughly enjoyed my quick visit and stay on the island. I stayed in the Ocean Park community at a dainty little vegetarian retreat center with the beach literally in the backyard of the center. My room had an outdoor shower and I loved everything about it! What more could a nature girl like me ask for! The retreat center was exactly what I needed and desired. Amazing meals for brunch, yoga on the beach, hammocks for lounging, and an amazing team of staff that made me feel right at home.

It's been two weeks since my trip and I really miss the food in Puerto Rico, as well as the healthy choices at the retreat center. I feel as if I left with everything that I needed and more. The natives were friendly and helpful too. The ocean was beautiful, almost as blue as the sky and the temperature was perfect. Of course I had to catch sunrise on the beach, it was breathtaking. The sunsets are romantic and just as amazing with huge palm trees as a backdrop.  I can't really pick a favorite part of my trip because I enjoyed it all. If you've never been, its certainly worth the trip and no passport is required.
