My St.Patrick's Day; I drank my very first beer!

My St. Patrick's Day festivities didn't begin until late afternoon.  I got caught in traffic and missed the parade in downtown Conyers, GA.  This would have been my first time attending; I'm accustomed to the way we celebrate in Savannah, GA. It's a pretty big deal back home. In fact St. Patrick's Day in  Savannah is the second largest celebration and parade in the United States. With that in mind and the fact that I was able to drive freely through the streets lets me know that I didn't miss much.  I did do a bit of browsing for the aftermath in the area. It really looked like a church function compared to what I'm used to back home. If you've never experienced St. Patrick's Day in Savannah, GA be sure to put it on your bucket list, you won't be disappointed.

(What a cutie pie)

There's a first time for everything! This just so happens to be the very first time that I've ever tasted beer. I'm sure some of you may be thinking Blue Moon is not a "real beer" because it's a peach flavor malt. Well, it's the same to me. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. Maybe because I'm not a beer drinker; I prefer wine but I thought it would be nice to try something different to go right along with all of the other changes I've made thus far in 2016.

If you haven't noticed by now, I got a pretty serious haircut earlier this week. I always cut my hair before the summer but its been years since I've worn my hair this short. I LOVE it. I've dropped plenty of hints and now the time has come. Its a carefree bedhead type style that's perfect for my summer fitness routine.

Peace out until next time!
