Meatless Monday

I thoroughly enjoyed my teriyaki veggie burger, seasoned sweet potato fries and a huge bottle of alkaline water for lunch 

Meatless Monday has really been fun for me; throughout my life I've never been a heavy "meat eater", today my diet fluctuates between 80% Pescitarian and 20% vegetarian and on occasion, vegan. One day I'll make a full commitment but until then, this is my story and I'm sticking to it.

Of course there are some benefits that I enjoy and of course want to share them with you guys.


Benefits 


  • - cutting out meat just once a week can drastically decrease your risk for heart disease by up to 19%
  • - decrease your risk of cancer 
  • - it's a great health conscious way to start your week
  • - consuming less calories 
  • - you'll feel accomplished and healthier
  • - you'll save a few dollars
