10 Tips to Detox Your Way to a Sexier You!

With more toxins in our environment than ever, experts recommend the average healthy person should detox around once a year. Follow these top tips to detox your way to a healthier, slimmer and sexier you!
1. Alkaline Diet
This helps to rid the body of toxins while rebalancing its pH level, in order to counteract the negative effects of an overly acidic diet. Modern diets tend to be based around acid-producing foods that imbalance the natural pH of the body, which makes us feel sluggish and unwell. By switching to alkaline-producing foods, such as green leafy vegetables, you can help to restore this natural balance. As well as making you feel healthier, this will encourage your body to release excess fat – so those unwanted pounds will drop off!

How to make Liquid Gold; Garlic oil

Liquid gold!!!!! Garlic oil; I LOVEEEE garlic, not only does It enhance the flavor of almost any dish, it's a natural antibiotic, helps lower cholesterol and blood pressure, and helps to keep colds away! Spread a little on bread for garlic bread or add as seasoned oil base to sautée your veggies...  #healthyfoodie #thegreengoddess #healthyissexy

Liquid Gold (Garlic Oil) Recipe

1 16 oz bottle of Extra virgin Olive Oil
3 Tablespoons of Earth Balance Butter
3 cups of organic peeled whole garlic
hint of Himalayan Pink Salt
1 small pot
2 Mason jars

Pour olive oil and butter in pot over medium heat
Carefully place garlic in oil
grind a hint of fresh Himalayan Pink Salt over garlic
cover pot
allow garlic to boil in oil until light golden brown
Remove from heat
cool for 15 minutes
pour contents into blender
Blend on puree for 15-30 seconds
Pour contents in mason Jar and store in Refrigerator

Happy MLK Day!

Happy MLK Day! Dr.King stood for LOVE, PEACE, EQUALITY and UNITY. Legacy and history starts with us as leaders, parents, teachers; etc. When I was growing up I was blessed to witness and experience the great works and legacy of my grandparents and other community leaders. They stood up for what they believed in, reached back to help those less fortunate and empowered those that were once in the dark. 
I hear some people say that the kids these days are lost; however I'd like to challenge my generation to give of yourself, stand in your truth and show them the light! How can the kids know their truth if all they are exposed to is lies! Fancy houses, toys, cars and bags are not the truth. Dig deeper and lets get back to whats important... Fathers being in the home and showing their sons how to be respectful loyal real men and Mothers showing their daughters how to cook and be virtuous young ladies all while reaching out to the less fortunate. Unfortunately a lot of kids are just as miserable as their parents are; its time to heal and do some damage control from the dysfunction; IT STARTS WITH YOU, DO YOUR PART!!!! XOXO THE GREEN GODDESS
